Fr. Stan is originally from Detroit, Michigan. He professed first vows in 1971 and was ordained at Perrysburg, Ohio, in 1974. His first assignment was to Ghana, where he served for seven years. He returned to the United States to serve in formation and administration, including six years as vice provincial and six years as provincial of the Chicago Province. After caring for parishes in West Virginia for three years, he was rector of Divine Word Theologate in Chicago from 2005 to 2014. Father Stan resided with the Divine Word Missionary community in Nha Trang, Vietnam, and teaching English language classes for the students in formation from 2014 to 2018. Currently, Father Stan serves as praeses for the East Troy, WI Divine Word Missionary community.
