Daisuke Narui SVD was born in Nagoya, Japan. He professed first vows as a Divine Word Missionary in 1995 and was ordained a priest in 2001. In November 2012, Father Daisuke was appointed the Generalate coordinator for justice, peace, and integrity of creation. He collaborates with Divine Word Missionaries in provinces and regions throughout the world to ensure that promoting peace, caring for the poor and marginalized, the earth, and all of creation are integral parts of their ministries and activities.
